We can use the shopbot to make wooden furnitures. It is a very big machine as well as it is very dangerous, Mr. Fransisco has already told us that the the shopbot could kill us. So, we have to be careful during working on this machine.
The shopbot is biggest machine in our fab, and because it came unassembled, we spent three working days assembling it.
At first we put a piece of wood on the shopbot in order to make it the base, and then engraving it to make it at the same level from all sides. Then we put another piece of wood and fix it in order to start making what ever we want to make (table, chair ...etc).
We used the VCarve software for designing scaling and editing the shapes that we want to make.
After that we have to select the origin and then using the shopbot software to start the operation.
The first thing we have made using the shopbot was a chair.
